If your niece or nephew is a good reader, encourage them to keep reading by helping them make a bookmark.

Cut out a shape from cardboard (don’t necessarily stick to rectangles; think animals, hearts, wands…) and let your niece or nephew color it in with their markers.  You can also glue on glitter or add stickers. Just create a bookmark they cannot wait to use again and again.
