Today is my n-b-c M'Kenzie's (niece by relation) birthday!!! I can hardly believe that 11 years ago I got a phone call while I was sitting in english class in high school saying that she was on her way one week early. Her birth was so special in so many ways...first she was born the day before Valentine's Day which gave her the nickname "the early Valentine" while she was in the hospital, she was due to arrive on my dad's birthday, but decided to make her apperance early, she made me a first time Aunt, my sister passed on my middle name to her, and she is my angel and my sweetheart! I can still remember the feeling of holding her for the first time and realizing that I was now an Aunt. I have friends that are becoming first time Aunts ask me for advice sometimes. The advice that I always give is to just be there for them when they need you, be at as many events of their's as possible to cheer them on, always tell them that you love them, give them hugs and kisses even when they push you away, and most of all just love them with all of your heart!! Happy 11th Birthday to you M'Kenzie Danae!!! You are my sweetheart, my angel, and my whole entire world!!!
