A couple of days would have been enough!
My mom & I went to my nephew's first birthday up north. My mom & I were just going to stay from Friday & then leave Sunday night. But noooo...my older brother invited us to stay until the following Friday. That sounds nice to you all,right? Think again. (btw..my nephew is my younger brother's little boy.) At first I thought that it would be okay since my oldest niece would be there. Nope. She was going back to her mom's. So my 3 year old niece would be there. Everyone..I love her very much. But she seems to think she can rule the household! I found out from my sister in law that she (my niece) has been throwing temper tantrums. Thankfully she didn't do that with me! She has this little Lego set & she asked if we should build a helicopter like there was on the bucket. So Her Royal Majesty sat there making an arrow with the triangular blocks while Aunt Kathy tried building a helicopter. (My coordination with my hands is pretty horrible) So when I noticed her making her arrow,I asked her if she was going to help me. She only put a piece or two on. (BIG DEAL!) She did this a couple of other times too (only it was with airports,Disney figures& other things) I kept asking her if she wanted me to read to her:"No Aunt Kathy. I want you to play blocks with me." We DID play with her Dora the Explorer pool set though. a few times.(It was a pool that had Dora & her one little friends)
My brother wants me to come down a year from this September. I already told my mother no & explained why. My brother's going to wonder why,though. If I tell him the reason though,he'll be really mad! (I personally think it's my s.i.l's doing that my 3 yr old niece acts the way she does. .My 10 yr. old niece didn't act like that when she was 3.)
