Hi Jane! I'm Kate and I only have 2 nieces - 5 and 7.5 years old. I would love more babies to hug, but none coming in the near future in our family I live in Wisconsin and my nieces live about 3 hours away, so I don't get to see them as often as I'd like to. I really look forward to connecting with more aunties here!

Hey Savvy Aunties! I'm Erica and I'm called Aunt Riki by a 2-year-old, blonde-haired, blue-eyed dynamo. I live in San Francisco, which is only two hours away from my niece. I got to stay with my sister the week after Wudge was born to help out around the house, and as a bonus I got one little girl very attached to her auntie!

I love the outdoors, reading, horses, my fast cars and my future husband! My best friend of ten years, Uncle James (of my Aunthology story fame) made it official and proposed last weekend!

I'm also the leader of the group Terrific Twos for Aunties of toddlers - I know my niece keeps me on my toes, and I'd love to share stories/insights/sanity checks with others in the same boat!

My name is Shirley and I currently live in Sandy, UT. I am originally from CA and that is where all my related 3 nephews ( 23 yrs., 17 yrs, 8 yrs. ) and 1 niece (5 yrs.) live. I also have what I like to call adopt-a-nieces and nephews, friends' children. I have 2 adopt-a-nephews and 2 adopt-a-nieces. I have not given birth to any children, but am lucky to have 3 grown step-children from my marriage of 3 yrs. I call myself mom to 2 male Golden Retrievers and 1 Russian Blue male cat.
It has been a wonderful and life changing experience to be in the room as my sister gave birth, watch my nephew grow up and now be able to have an adult relationship with him. I think being an Auntie is the best. My relationships with my niece and my nephews are priceless and I think this new web site is a great way to share these experiences and to appreciate the value of what being an Auntie really is. I just started my own business a few months ago, it is Pet Sitting, Dog Walking Training service (www.peaceofmindpetsitters.biz) I am an animal lover, athlete and outdoors enthusiast. My photo is of me and my 2nd nephew, it was taken last year up in Blue River B.C., Canada. We were on a river boat ride where we saw beautiful native black bears.

I am Bridgette though my nieces and nephew know me as Aunt Bebe (most kids can't pronounce Bridgette properly!). I live in Brooklyn with my husband.

I am an aunt to two nieces, Morgan who will be 5 this September, Avery who was just born on May 31st and my nephew Evan who is 3. In addition, I have welcomed two nieces and a nephew into my life through my husband.

I think this website is a fantastic idea! I think the job as an aunt is the coolest job ever and it, in some ways, even trumps the grandma because we are younger and the kids always see the aunt as cool. Although I think my nephew Evan would choose my husband over me any day! LOL!

I love being an aunt and cherish this role in my life! My nieces and nephew live nearby but not near enough and I only see them every few months. One of my favorite things to do is chat with them on my webcam!

Hello! My name is Bridget. I am an an aunt to ... ready? 31. I first entered aunthood at 13 and now the oldest nephew is 22 and the youngest is just under two years. (the explanation is that I have 10 siblings!) Yes, it is crazy but I do a *pretty* good job at keeping up with them. I live on the west coast and most are on the east coast, so I try to be in touch with postcards, email and now Facebook with some of the older ones.
I would love to get new ideas with how to connect with my nieces and nephews better and more. This is a GREAT idea for a site and I'm so happy to be a part of it!
