I forgot to add something.
This summer is the intergenerationational games. When A (12 year old niece) was 10 she came down with her other grandmother took part in it .She had a BLAST! Now from what I've seen C (4 year old niece who'll be 5 in a couple of weeks) does NOT like to lose! She'll be coming down with her mom and her other grandmother. *I* personally think that they should wait until C is a couple of years older until she takes part in this. I don't want to cause WW3 with my mother though.
Mom's boyfriend gets SUCH a kick out of her though. (He doesn't have any grandchildren of his own. His oldest daughter's my best friend that died last year, his son died a number of years ago his youngest daughter doesn't seem to show any sign of wanting to get married having any kids) He and C were playing doctor and nurse with her dolls. (She has a doctors' kit.) But she has to be told when to stop by one of her parents.
We (My mother, me, her boyfriend,my older brother,my s.i.l C ) are going on a cruise in late April (A can't go because of school) The LAST time I was on a cruise with C was when she was a baby. I've heard that when she's been on cruises since then (besides Disney) she's a bit demanding. For example. sometimes they pass by your table and ask if you want anything played on the guitar. THAT decision should have been made up by the ADULTS..NOT by the (then) 3 year old.. I'll give her credit that she chose Hallelujah but STILL I just wish my brother s.i.l would treat her like she's a child on trips .A couple of times when I was in NY last week I had to count backwards from 100 so I wouldn't say anything to her. .
Opinions needed about EVERYTHING I posted?
PS. The day we leave on the cruise is my birthday. I'll be DARNED if she ruins it! I wish 12 year old could go with us! I ALSO wish 12 year old could come down for a week JUST HER. But in this crazy world today it's dangerous for kids to fly down alone.
