Need to vent about raising kids

I just need to get this out. Thanks in advance for listening.
In all, I've got 11 nieces and nephews. On my DH side, we've got a very intelligent bunch, including a med student, all well adjusted wholesome kids, most into sports. However, on my side, nothing but trouble. My sister's 19 y/o was thrown out, let back in, drinks almost daily, posts every excrutiating detail on twitter. Her younger sister, following in her footsteps, sneaking out, banned from public places, etc. My other sister's daughter unwed at 21, w/ 1 month old, practically squatting. Father of the baby is an avid gamer.
I just don't get how this happens. So proud, yet so ashamed.
