The Wall Street Journal reports that Solange Knowles, sister to Beyoncé and mom to the star’s 6-year-old nephew, Daniel "Julez" Smith, knew long before the rest of us that Beyoncé and husband Jay Z are expecting. Solange also told the Journal that the celebrity couple knows the gender of their baby and are working on names. WSJ says Solange, a super star in her own right, is already feeling like a "proud auntie."

We love that the feeling is now mutual. After all, Beyoncé has been a true Savvy Auntie to her nephew, having appeared with him in a commercial for Nintendo DS. (She also refers to her nephew in this American Express commercial.)  Plus, Auntie Beyonce has taken Julez to the Grammys and Billboard Music Awards. But perhaps it’s her nephew, Julez, who has had the greatest influence in his aunt’s decision to have a baby. She was once quoted as stating: “I definitely want [a child] but I’m not ready for all that. I don’t think a person should see that before their time. I fall in love with my nephew every time I see him.”
