Get your niece and nephew more active with Zumba!
Named one of the top 10 fitness trends for 2012 by the American College of Sports Medicine, Zumba is a low impact aerobic interval training uses Latin-style dance movements, such as the cha-cha, merengue, or salsa. The routines are easy to follow, and the tempo of the Latin music changes from slow to fast and back again. No matter your level of coordination, you can move your body like a latin princessa.
Either pop any one of the numerous DVDs you can find in your local library into your TV, or into your Zumba Wii. This also makes a great present for your niece or nephew’s birthday!
Before long, you will be having fun while getting in shape!
Once you and your niece and nephew become familiar with the dance steps, bring Zumba into the pool! The water acts as resistance to help tone your muscles. This is a pool party like no other.
