It is important that a Savvy Auntie takes care of her heart for the children she loves. To support heart health, The Heart Truth, the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) campaign to fight against heart disease in women.
Friday, February 3, 2012, is National Wear Red Day® in support of women's heart disease awareness, and on that day there will be many ways for you to get involved.

Pledge to live heart healthy in 2012: Badges
Post one of these images to your Web site, blog, or any other public internet forum, to inspire yourself and others to live heart healthy.
As a result of these and other efforts, the death of women associated with heart disease has dropped from 1 in 3 to 1 in 4!
Your support of The Heart Truth campaign is vital to giving other aunties, and women in general, life-saving messages about their risk of heart disease and inspiring them to take action to lower their personal risk. In so doing, you will inspire your niece and nephew to take care of their own hearts and to share their love and passion with other wonderful causes.
