A Favorite Fashion Doll Got a Makeover!

We asked the Auntourage on Facebook to watch a short video from GirlsAskGuys and share what they thought about a scientist’s idea to give some fashion dolls a new look. The response was mixed:
Some loved the project. Andrea Moore said, “Awesome! Maybe this will help girls realize they don't need all that war paint (aka makeup) to be beautiful. I loved it when the little one said the doll liked to go camping. I don't have kids of my own but I'm so proud of how my brother and sister-in-law are raising my nieces. Would much rather see them play with the "new" ones who eat all the tomatoes than the old ones who look like they belong on street corners.”
Other Savvy Aunties offered that the new dolls may not draw the attention of girls. Paty Estrada said: “These dolls are ugly. Tones down way too much.” And others would rather avoid the discussion altogether: “I'm glad my daughter likes video games...not dolls,” stated Sammi Nuriko.
