While your younger nieces and nephews may be too young to have an email account, you can still create one for them. Then, email them at that account like you would write in a journal, as it relates to them. For example, “Christine, you were so funny today! I loved how excited you were to see me when I came through the door. I believe at age 2 you are finally beginning to realize how much I love you.”

When the kids get older, you can share the email account with them as a surprise. They’ll be able to read all about their growing up through your eyes.  And don’t forget to attach some photos along the way!
