Mother’s Day Recipes Kids Can Make
Are your nieces and nephews still looking for the perfect gift to show mom their love this Mother’s Day? Cooking or baking for mom can be fun but can also get messy and might require a lot of careful adult supervision and aid. Kid-friendly recipes can remove a lot of this hassle and allow your nieces and nephews to help out more in the kitchen.
Here are a few recipes from Celebrations.com writer Jeanne Benedict’s “Kid Makes & Bakes” series that your little ones can whip up for Mother’s Day.

Directions:
• Wash the berries with water to clean them and dry with a paper towel.
• Put the berries in a nice soup bowl or tea cup.
• Crumble the oatmeal cookie on top of the berries.
• Spray whipped cream on top of the crumbled cookie and berries.
• Serve it to mom with a spoon.
Pineapple Cheesecake Blintzes
An easy, no bake cheesecake is the perfect Mother’s Day homemade gift from the kids.
Ingredients
• 4 egg roll wrappers
• 1 slice cheesecake
• 4 tablespoons pineapple chunks (from a can that a grown-up opens)
• 1 Tablespoon powdered sugar
Steps
• Put the egg roll wrappers on a plate that can go in the microwave.
• To warm up the wrappers, set the microwave for 10 seconds and push start. Wait until the plate cools off before touching it, then take it out of the microwave.
• When the wrappers are cool enough to pick up, put 1 wrapper on a nice dinner plate.
• Scoop 2 big spoonfuls of cheesecake and put it in the center of the wrapper.
• Put 1 tablespoon of pineapple chunks on the cheesecake that is on the wrapper.
• Fold over the edges of the wrapper to cover the cheesecake and pineapples.
• Sprinkle about 1/2 teaspoon of powdered sugar on top and serve to mom with a fork.
• Repeat steps 4 – 7 to make 3 more blintzes.
