Video-games that come with toys are all the rage, but the latest Skylanders SuperChargers game has toys you can actually play with: cars, submarines and space ships with moving parts.



Put these toy vehicles on the USB portal plugged into your video-game console and you can use them in the game. What’s even better is that two players can work together to beat the enemies and complete the level. Will you let your nephew or niece drive while you take on the shooting or perhaps switch it up and steer yourself?



Like previous years, you buy the game in a Starter Pack that comes with all you need and one of the vehicles. That’s enough to finish the game, but to see everything you need to save up pocket money and buy some more toys. The more you have, the more places you can go in the game.

With Disney Infinity having Star Wars characters this year and a new toy-video-game hybrid called Lego Dimensions, it’s looking like competition is heating up in the toy AND video-game isle this year.
