My Story: I'm a Teacher-Auntie!

I'm an assistant teacher at a preschool/daycare for children ranging from two months to six years old. Working with these young children sparks my imagination every day. When I walk into work each morning, I know a new adventure awaits me. I am privileged to experience these children's creativity, passion, and energy first-hand. While I am a Cousin Auntie, I am also an ABC, Auntie by Choice, to these young children whom I have grown to adore more and more each day.
My entire life, I have enjoyed working with children. I worked as a teacher’s assistant for a kindergarten class during my senior year of high school, was a recreational camp leader for a group of preschoolers one summer, and I have always had great happiness when babysitting and playing with my young cousins. Working with kids is the simplest way to brighten my day.
I admit that sometimes I miss being a child; they have such a zest for life. That's why I'm grateful to be a teacher, helping children to grow and to learn and become who they are meant to be.
