There are certain classic children’s books every child should have in his or her little library, including the perennial favorites many of us had when were just little nieces ourselves. Savvy Aunties can be the ones to help build that library of timeless classics for a child they love.
Whether you live close by or if you are a Long Distance Auntie (LDA) the Children’s Classics Collection from the Gift of the Month Shop is a wonderful solution. Each month, your little niece or nephew will receive a brand new classic children’s book selected by expert editors to add to her or his growing library . The first book in the series is The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. Now that’s a must-have book for any little boy or girl!
Building their library with classics is simple. Here’s how it works:
Step One:
Gift a 3, 6 or 12 month membership. You choose when it starts.
Step Two:
Write a personal message to your niece or nephew and the Gift of the Month Shop will send a personalized greeting to the child telling them and their parents what to look forward to.
Step Three:
Relax. Each month, your niece or nephew will receive a new classic book from the collection. You don’t have to do a thing.
And now giving the classics means giving back too! Children’s Classics Collection partnered with First Book to promote child literacy. For every book Children’s Classics Collection sends, $1 will be donated to First Book, the national organization dedicated to providing access to books for children in need.
Not only will you be helping build their library with classic books, you’ll be giving other children access to books - plus your nieces and nephews will enjoy the fun and excitement of discovering a great new book each month. Now that gets us all in the holiday giving mood, Auntie.
