Ellen Is a Pretty Good Aunt Says Wife Portia

Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi aren’t moms, but they’re pretty cool aunts, if they do say so themselves.
The couple have two nieces, and the older one, who’s five, realizes Aunt Ellen is just a tiny bit famous, and is learning about all the perks that go along with having Ellen as an aunt. De Rossi recently told Jimmy Kimmel on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last month of wife, Ellen, “…She’s a pretty good aunt to have. They watch her show every day, so they’ve wised-up now.”
The couple have felt the pressure to become moms, especially de Rossi, but both women said they’re quite happy to be the “cool aunts” right now. And who’d disagree?
