Over 41 million people tuned in to watch the Academy Awards this year. That's a whole lot of people who saw Sandra Bullock score the award for Best Actress for her performance in "The Blind Side."

Even more touching than her award-winning turn as Leigh Anne Tuohy was Bullock's speech, in which she thanked "the moms that take care of the babies and the children no matter where they come from." In what may have been the most emotional moment of the telecast, she thanked her mother for giving her the opportunity to have her Oscar as well as her husband, daredevil Jesse James.

But Bullock can credit somebody else for helping her meet her James. It was her godson who helped facilitate their first meeting. When he was eight, he requested a very special Christmas gift--a tour of the set of the television show "Monster Garage," a show James hosted.

"I asked him what he wanted for Christmas. He asked to see a taping of 'Monster Garage.' I had no idea what he was talking about, but that's what he wanted so that's what he got. You know the rest," she told Canoe.

Like so many Savvy Aunties out there, Bullock fulfilled her godson's request without thinking twice (or without even knowing exactly what she was in for!). In our view, that makes her role as a godmother her best yet.
