Joining forces with PledgeMusic, Dolly Parton, superstar country performer, Godmother to Miley Cyrus, and Auntie to literally dozens of nieces and nephews, is releasing her first-ever children’s album entitled, I Believe In You.
Proceeds from the album pre-order campaign benefit Parton's "Imagination Library," inspired by her passion for fostering a love of reading with children and their families, which, since its inception in 1996, has expanded into
four countries serving more than one-million children by providing a
brand new, age-appropriate book each month.
"I Believe In You" is the CelebAuntie’s first album written specifically for kids and those young at heart. But that’s not the only reason why this isn’t just any new album release for GeeGee, as she’s affectionately known to her great-nieces and nephews. This year marks 50 years since Dolly released her first album!

Plus, Auntie Dolly included a special song inspired by her niece, Hannah Dennison. When Hannah was a child, she spent a long time in the hospital, suffering from Leukemia. Dolly wrote “Chemo Hero” when Hannah was going through chemotherapy. Here’s Savvy Auntie’s exclusive first-look at the song with a special message from Dolly.
With her PledgeMusic campaign, Dolly is inviting fans to join her in her dedication to promoting literacy and joy through music. Fans who pre-order the album via PledgeMusic will get the AccessPass, which will give them special access to exclusive items straight from Dolly. These include: an early digital download of the album; a custom outgoing voicemail recorded by Dolly herself, plus a CD and digital download; a Recording King RD-T16 guitar autographed by Dolly, and specially crafted to produce a vintage tone, deluxe hard case included; a signed tour laminate; and much more.
The album is available digitally now, with a physical release slated for Friday, October 13, 2017. You can pre-order "I Believe In You," here.
By the way, if you’re wondering how Dolly’s niece Hannah is doing, she’s still spending a lot of time with her beloved aunt – but now as Dolly’s makeup artist!
