Savvy Summer Sizzle!
It’s June, and the start of summer. No better a time than to implement a ‘Life Improvement 101’ no-fail tactic. Looking to feel a savvy summer sizzle for new love? Infuse some summer sass into your career? Perhaps some extra stamina for summer play with your savvy nieces and nephews is required. Regardless of the reason, this tactic below will not fail to rock your world.
Drum-roll please…
Take INSPIRED actions – daily - for one week. What do I mean by this? Well, I can bet you are like most of us living in this modern life, which is that we are leading very busy lives. So busy in fact that often everything just kind of runs together, gets more and more busy and overwhelming, and eventually you either flat-line in apathy (maybe without even knowing it), or, you stay on the merry-go-round getting so out of touch with your authentic, and savvy, self and without a minute to spare!
The brilliance of taking inspired actions, and I can say this on behalf of myself and my clients, is that energetically everything aligns in more powerful ways. Rather than operating from shoulds, indecision, or resentment - by taking inspired actions you align with what’s true for you, which in turn aligns with the Universe. Everything begins to feel light and breezy-easy. Fun and savvy.
This, Savvy Aunties, applies to everything from deciding what you want to do this evening, who to call back (unless it’s a boss or beloved), to making some summer plans with your savvy nieces and nephews, and next ‘baby-steps’ (or not-so-baby steps) regarding career. You’ll notice that life gets better by giving some intention to these choices; taking inspired actions. See, what typically happens is that we make lots of choices and actions based on reaction, or out of ‘musts’ and ’shoulds’. We also can simply wimp out when we don’t feel inspired and we’re facing something that feels daunting and unknown.
Here are a few things to set the tone for inspired & intentional actions:
Get a little quiet. Pause before you return a call (from a negative friend) and check in with yourself. Give yourself permission to say NO to doing something that may have just become habit over time.
Tap into your VISION (you can search prior articles here on SavvyAuntie.com for creating a vision). Does this choice or action you’re looking to take align? If it’s a Yes, then it’s ‘inspired.'
Focus. Focus on making these inspired choices and actions based on where you want to be (future), not from where you may be feeling or seem to be currently.
