It was enlightening to find such a warm spin on being an Aunt and what are responsibilities to these children truly fits in in our own lives and how we embrace it.

My nieces really give me the ability to display the views of the many women that I have been along my path of life. My nieces get direct access to the "do's and "don'ts" and, dare I add, the "you have a choice, here" decisions that will, surely, come. Helping them prepare emotionally, spiritually ad mentally, is pretty fantastic.
In this world of being a nurturer, an educator, a human being; and an aunt; this article was a great way to communicate our feelings and gave me a new sense of empowerment with my title as that "Cool Aunt" .
