As the old saying goes, "No good deed goes unpunished." Since my husband died two years ago I decided to take my nieces and nephews, in order of age, on trips with me. I'm a travel writer so it seemed like a perfect fit...and it was...for the first two darling nieces. The last trip was a nightmare...my niece-24!...was a total brat, almost got us involved in a riot in Spain, said she didn't care what we did but then complained afterwards. Her feet hurt so I tried to help...let's go to the doctor, let's go to the pharmacist-but she kept saying "NO! I'm fine." I finally blew up at her and she was nice for two days but then the old behavior came out...
How do you deal with this behavior savvy aunties?
