Welcome everyone. I am beginning my journey to lose weight and want to invite you all to follow me and get healthy so we can get the most out of being aunts to our nieces and nephews. OK, so I am about 20 pounds down from my highest weight. I had a couple set backs, but all in all making progress. Hope to be down another pants size by new year. I am not going to buy any new cloths until hopefully the spring, then a big shopping trip for me, my mom and SIL. Hey all. Its been awhile. I pretty much have forgotten to post as I spend most of my time with me niece and nephew. They are 5 and almost 3. Instead of blogging about my journey to lose weight andI intended when I started this group. I am just in the middle of it, trying to keep going every day. Making good choices and celebrating each large and small achievment. lissieb7 that is so awesome that you found something to kickstart your journey. I know its hard to stay motivated, but just keep remembering why you want to get healthier. Also, make sure you reward yourself often (just not with ice cream, lol) and you will meet you goals, no matter what they are. I will check back with you all soon...I hope..

So I have had some success, down 30 lbs. Lost first 10%, now working on second. I have had some health issues, so sorry I have been MIA. Had a full hysterectomy on October 22nd. Still in recovery, but got release from doctor to start activity again. Keep plugging away, that's all I can do.
