I love to knit and the salvation army benefits because my nieces and nephew can't wear everything I make. I love making clothes and toys for them, esp lovely little pink things for 2yo ari. She wears her knitted ballet dress with her brothers football shorts, so she's ready for anything! Even at 2 she has her own style. Her 6 yo brother commissions his jumpers, last year it was 'i'd like a stripy jumper with triangles on it please' and now it's his favourite sweater.

I've had such fun knitting pink cardigans for my 2 yo niece. Maybe it's her own style or the sheer volume, but my sister reports that she likes to wear two at once!

New to Savy Auntie and joined this group because I just learned to knit. My favorite thing so far is knitting dishcloths and there are such cute free patterns out there online. I have made a teddybear one that can be a washcloth for a niece or nephew. My niece loves elephants and I plan on doing an elephant soon. I visit knittingpatterncentral.com for good patterns.
